We Fund Grants

Wrentham Elementary Schools Trust, Inc. (WEST) is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization responsible for raising private capital to fund innovative, educational programs for the Wrentham Elementary Schools. Founded in 2007 by parents and community members, our foundation works to support vital curriculum enrichment programs that fall outside the school budget--WEST has funded nearly $380,000 in educational grants since 2007!

When COVID-19 hit we adjusted our funding to more pressing needs to enrich the remote learning experience such as online science subscriptions and digital curriculum. We also purchased iPads for our special needs preschool program to use remotely and Art Kits for students who could not afford art supplies at home.

Why WEST is Essential

WEST offers teachers an avenue to build new and enriching educational programs. By supporting the best possible education for Wrentham's children, we are helping to secure a bright future. A school system that prides itself on excellence is essential to the economic and social health of the entire community. At WEST, we believe that great schools build strong communities and we are proud to work together with parents, teachers and local businesses to achieve that goal.
